The Tuesday reading Group meets monthly on a convenient Tuesday. At present there are four of us and we take it in turns to host the session in our homes. We read a variety of books of different genres, usually chosen from lists supplied by Shard End Library. We then "discuss" the book. This is light hearted and usually does not take very long, sometimes only to say whether or not we liked the book. Then we put the world to rights!
On a personal level I would like to say that through the group I have been introduced to some fantastic books that I would never have dreamt of reading, being recommended by someone in the group or by the library.
This reading group meets in each other's houses every month and are limited on numbers. Members take it in turn to choose a book for their group to read and then discuss it. They try to choose a variety of types of books to both challenge and enjoy.
